Week 3: Finally Done With Training!

Week 3: Finally Done With Training!

After two weeks of video training I am finally done with the set-up and scale up steps of Aspire. I can tell you it's not difficult to do the training whatsoever. You just watch the video, read the overview, and complete a study guide of what you learned.

Well that plus whatever work your coach gives you. Drew has us watch additional videos, fill out some extra forms, and goes on a daily check in call to review what we learned at each step.

But I am STILL not at the point where I can begin making money...well I can, but the coaches don't recommend it yet.

You see there's still one more step I have to take with Drew, that's the business planning step. Basically we'll be having a one-on-one meeting where we talk about my goals (something you delve very deeply into in later steps), marketing budget, and a game plan to how you can achieve your goals around your budget.

On top of all of that I still have to receive my final coach, that would be my training/traffic coach. S/he is the person who will guide me through all of the sources of traffic and see which one I will be most successful with. Now me personally, I always thought you just post ads through every traffic source and that'll get you leads...Turns out not to be the case.

First there's A LOT of ways to get traffic. We're talking Solo Ads (paid ads where you are paying for traffic to your site), Blogs like this one, video marketing, social media marketing, banner ads, Google Adwords, Bing Ads, and so much more. No way you are going to succeed if you try to get ads on every one of them. That's why my coaches have told me to pick one and master it. I'm leaning more towards Solo Ads, Email Marketing Ads, or Facebook Ads.

Anywho that's all I have for now. I know it's not my best writing and there's no pictures of my progress so far...I'll be editing this tomorrow and adding more information to it. But it is 11PM, I just got home from class, and looking forward to hitting my bed and enjoying this snow day we have tomorrow!

I'll see you all next week!

Week 2: Working My Way Through Training

Okay, so I had to sign an NDA form from Digital Altitude so I may not be able to go into 100% detail about what I've learned. But I am still going in detail about the process so far.

Currently I finished my start-up steps (steps 1-6) and am now on my set-up steps. These are supposedly the rest of the steps which should lead me to where I can finally start making money.

On top of these new steps that I am on I also have a new coach, Drew. He is a 7 figure income earner from Australia and he is taking me throughout the rest of my steps. He has a completely different method of coaching from my start up coach Ryan. With Ryan, he would unlock two steps at a time for me and we would go over both steps over the phone. Drew on the other hand wants me to take things slower. He only unlocks one step at a time, fill out a form discussing what I learned at a given step, has me listen to the daily calls that DA has every morning, then we go through a group workshop via video chat where we all discussed what we learned at out given steps. At this rate, I'll be done with these steps in eight days (I have eight steps left after my group call later today). This would mean that my two week $1 trial will be over and my $37 monthly membership would begin. I was told by my previous coach to stay on that level since I would not be doing any marketing at the moment.

On top of all that I decided to upgrade from the Ascend business program to Rise. Yes, that means I just went to a program that costs $2,000. I chose to do this for the extra training (that you get access to right away) and because I was able to get the base package for free ($597 retail price). I didn't pay it with my hard earned dollar though. I am leveraging OPM (Other People's Money) to fund this. Now because the other DA products are very expensive (we're talkin 3k-28k) I'll hold off until I am able to start generating income. My coaches may tell me it's a bad idea. Because If I start marketing under Rise, then anyone who I bring in while I am on Rise will be passed over to my sponsor once they go through the next levels (even if I upgrade before them). That's cool with me because many people don't make it to those levels that fast, and I rather make sure I am making money before I spend so much.

There's one more very interesting thing. Since I've started DA, I've gotten friend requests and messages on Facebook from other online marketers. Not because they are trying to sell me on something, but because they were looking to expand their network and find other like minded people who were also trying to make money online.

Who only knows what is going to happen next. Currently I am still under the rags section of Rags to Riches, but the good thing about being at the bottom is that there is nowhere else to go but up!

Week 1: Let The Journey Begin

If you are reading this blog, first congratulations for even finding it. But second you probably expected this to be about someone who was poor and now is a multi-millionaire and is going to give you the keys to success (on some DJ Khaled ish). I'm sorry to say this is not that type of blog!

I'm not rich, heck my net worth is in the negative because of my student loans. But I am someone who is determined to make it out of the life I live, to live among some of the wealthiest people in the world and show everyone that they can make it too.

Now when we see people talk about how to be wealthy, we listen to successful men and women who came from humble beginning, grinding to reach the success that they have now. But rarely have we heard a story of someone documenting their experiences of trying to build wealth AS IT'S HAPPENING! This is where I come in with this blog. Every week I will be updating my journey, what I did, what the current plan is, and even what the future moves are. All this for two possible outcomes. I can fall flat on my face by failing (which I plan is going to happen numerous times), or I can be a success and prove that ANYONE can build wealth regardless of their background.

Before I get into my first week on this journey, let me give you some background on me. I am a full time college student living in New York City. What that means is I'm in the number one reason people go into debt living in literally the most expensive city in the United States in terms of cost of living. With this and counting Section Eight apartments, Food Stamps, it makes for a ton of excuses for failing. But these are motivations for me.

My total net worth as of today

So how do I plan on doing this? Numerous risks. Currently I have a job, an online shopify store that you can see here, and started this marketing business called Digital Altitude. Before you jump me saying it's a scam, I've done all of my research on the business, its business model, and how people have been able to make money. This is why I said numerous risks. I know the risks but I'm willing to take it. Who knows, if it works then you will know its safe for you.

Currently I am in the middle of their six start up steps. I've had two conversations with the coaches that you are given to help you through the process. The beginning steps are pretty simple: watch a video with the days topic, read the overview that's included, then complete a review sheet to make sure you understood with you just learned. You do two of these each day then call your coach. They lock the steps so you pretty much have to contact your coach.

Will I succeed? Will I fail? We shall see.
